This festive season, Kandima Maldives is turning up the excitement with The Showtime Fairground! Our stunning island paradise transforms into a vibrant playground for those seeking a holiday filled with laughter, adventure, and a splash of stylish island flair.
Get ready for a festive escape filled with connection, play, and plenty of island fun. Sporting action, creative experiences, festive dining and live entertainment bring the season to life, with special appearances from The Wingroves, Dustin Brown, Lucy Bronze and Ona Batlle adding even more excitement to the celebrations.
Game Changers Are Coming to Play
The festive season is stepping up a gear with The Wingroves, Dustin Brown, Lucy Bronze and Ona Batlle joining us at Kandima. The Wingroves bring football and family fun to the island, while tennis star Dustin Brown takes to the Sports Arena for special clinics and time on court. Lucy Bronze and Ona Batlle will add their expertise to the celebrations with coaching and games on the pitch. Meet Kandima’s Festive Game Changers, learn from the pros and get involved during your stay.
Eat, Sip & Get Festive
The season brings plenty to savour, with special dishes appearing across the island and dining experiences made for long lunches, lively dinners and celebrations by the beach. Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve turn up the occasion with special gala dinners, bringing everyone together over great food as we celebrate two of the biggest nights of the festive season. Come hungry, there’s plenty to enjoy!
Ready, Steady, Play!
PlaySpace is offering bowling, arcade games, and escape-room challenges to bring everyone into the festive game. Have a friendly competition with your family and friends, and if you want to jam with them, enjoy the karaoke room made for families and friends to sing like they own the stage. The fun does not have to end there. Buckle up at Fast Track and take on Kandima’s 500-metre electric circuit, tackle 12 turns and find out who really deserves those festive bragging rights.
Christmas: Jingle All Out
Bright sun, cold breeze, and tides crashing on the shore as you wake up on a tropical island. Christmas sounds even more exciting with the sun out bright, waiting for the fun to begin. Kandima is bringing special festive feasts, music and island celebrations to the Showtime Fairground on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Gather all your favourite people, soak up the sunshine and enjoy a Christmas that feels anything but ordinary.
Get Colourful with KULA
Next in line, looking forward to a day filled with colours! The Kula Art Festival is celebrating creativity and Maldivian artistic talent through art and interactive experiences around the island. At the Kula Art Studio, you can get hands-on, be creative, and prepare something of your own. The itinerary of the day does not end there. Then comes the KULA Run. A big moving celebration across the island while running, walking, or even dancing your way as splashes of colour turn the route. Wearing a white outfit is optional, but keeping it white? Highly impossible.
New Year: Let the Karnival Begin
Ready for the grand finale? The Kandima Karnival Bonanza takes Showtime into full celebration mode for New Year’s Eve. The energy is expected to be fairground-like, with music and entertainment as the island counts down together. Once the clock hits 12 and the new year, 2027, arrives, look up to watch the most mesmerising moment of fireworks lighting up the Maldivian sky, and another year of anything-but-ordinary island adventure begins.
Make the Festive Season Your Kind of Show
This year, let the Showtime Fairground transform your festive season into a unique experience. Embrace Christmas in the sun and tailor your holiday with a blend of sports, play, creativity, and island festivities. With adventures waiting at Fast Track, PlaySpace, KULA, and our stylish venues, each day offers a fresh reason to step out and join the fun.
